For Got:C's fourth anniversary, the team had the challenge of coming up with a piece of key art that could work with any aspect ratio from 9:19.5 to 19:5. The solution: I designed a tall medieval tapestry at high resolution and with each major element kept on its own layer. That way, it could be incorporated into an illustration for in-game needs and rearranged to accommodate wide banners. I made custom brushes to emulate the woven texture of a tapestry, and it was off to the races.
